MG TF 1500

Brand: MG | Model: TF 1500

The Classic: Introduced in late 1954, the TF 1500 was the final evolution of MG's legendary T-Series, and the last British sports car of its kind. Its new 1,466 cc XPEG engine produced 63 bhp, pushing top speed to near 145 km/h and cutting the 0 to 100 km/h time by more than two seconds over the original TF. Wire wheels, flowing fenders, a sloping radiator grille, and headlamps faired into the bodywork gave it a presence no modern car could replicate. Inside, separately adjustable seats and a refined interior reflected the care put into every detail. Of the 3,400 TF 1500s built, the vast majority were exported to the United States. Production closed in April 1955, succeeded by the MGA. Rare, resolved, and immediately recognisable, the MG TF 1500 remains one of the most collectible British classics ever made.
